The name of the plot symbol itself.
HEIGHT C=1, R=FSINGL U
The height of the symbol. Two variations are in use. In the first, the height is the display height of the symbol, typically between 1 and 20 millimeters. In the second variant, the height refers to height of the symbol as it would appear if it were on the ground. This has the advantage that symbols scale like other earth features under 'zooming' operations, rather than having a fixed height. Such a feature would be several orders of magnitude larger than the absolute height as displayed on a map. The distinction between the two cases must be inferred from the relative magnitude of the value.
DISPLAY-ANGLE C=1, R=FSINGL U
The rotation angle of the symbol, typically in degrees. Zero means the symbol appears on the map as shown in the table. Angles increase in the counterclockwise direction.
ANCHOR-LOCATION C=1, R=OBJREF MAND
Reference to a 217-MAP-LOCATION object giving the location of the map anchor point for this symbol.
RED-VALUE C=1, R=USHORT GREEN-VALUE C=1, R=USHORT BLUE-VALUE C=1, R=USHORT
Relative intensity of red, green and blue to encode color attribute. For reference, white is indicated by RED-VALUE = GREEN-VALUE = BLUE-VALUE = 255, and black is RED-VALUE = GREEN-VALUE = BLUE-VALUE = 0.
LINE-WIDTH C=1, R=USHORT
Relative line width of the drawn feature, or printed character, from 0 to 255.
LINE-STYLE C=1, R=ASCII
Indicates line style: solid, dashed etc. A candidate starting list is:
